Common Admission Test, also referred to as CAT refers to the leading examination which is conducted for students willing to seek admission in top business schools in India. The registration for the examination has started on August 9 and will continue till 20th September.
No need to hurry on day one. Take your own time as the registration is open for a good 40 days. Thus, you have sufficient time for registration, says Professor Neeraj Dwivedi. The institute is going to conduct the entrance test this year itself. If you are interested, keep your documents ready in a careful manner on the desktop. Make sure to go through each and every instruction thoroughly as you apply. There is an adequate amount of time for applying and you do not need to worry about.
Post to submission of applications, different candidates will be capable of downloading admit card from 18th October 2017 till the date of conduction of exam.
The date for CAT exam is out. It is going to be held on 26th November.
iimcat.ac.in, the official website of CAT, comprises of a section on FAQ, frequently asked questions that address different queries of the candidate regarding CAT. Candidates will able to contact the helpdesk of CAT via phone or email.
The examination is going to be conducted in two sessions. The test notification has been released by IIM Lucknow last month. Each of the 20 IIMs accepts the scores of this exam. Over 100 business schools are going to accept this test.
The examination will be held in test centers wide spread across 140 cities. Candidates will be conferred the option to choose the cities as per the preference. The authorities will let the candidates know about test centers after the registration for CAT 2017 is over. Thus, you do not require rushing in order to block cities and slots during the initial days of registration
