CA FINAL AND CPT RESULT 2017 TO BE ANNOUNCED ON JULY 18!

By |Categories: CA|

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that we can expect the release of CPT Results and CA finals on July 18, 2017. According to them, we can expect a time of the release to be around 2:00 pm.

Results will be announced on the website of the exam which is called icaiexam.icai.org and if you want to check the result, you have to enter your own Pin Number or Registration Number and Roll Number. You have to check Roll Number because that is the rule which is mandatory, and you will be able to choose whether you want to enter Pink Number or Registration Number.

Results will be on a merit list and it will contain all ranks and score that will secure the privacy and all relevant information about candidates. However, you have to understand that the merit will be allocated for those students that qualified. In order to clear the entire exam, all candidates must have 55% or above in order to reach the Final examination.

All qualifiers of the both examinations will be congratulated by the state, and all qualifiers of Final examination can expect the certification from Chartered Accountant. That means that qualifiers could move forward after CPT examination in order to reach CA dream and to apply other courses that could help them improve their knowledge such as IPCC.

Even though the entire scheme of exams has been changed this year especially for CPT Paper and CA Finals, we have to understand that it will be held in the May of 2018 and most participants will be conducted to a new kind of scheme. These changes were made in order to replace subjects in both exams, however, most of the candidates don’t have to worry because it is expected that the old scheme will return in 2020. Then all candidates could easily switch from new to old and vice versa as they want and need.

This particular solution gave the possibility and opportunity for the candidates to increase their volume and to have more. However, most of them can appear in the examination under the new scheme or old, however, they have to be registered before the end of June 2017. All other candidates that will register after that date will be able to take only new scheme exams.

In CA Final, the main difference between new and old scheme is in the Second Group. That means that in Advanced Management Accounting and Information Systems Control and Audit was replaced by Performance Evaluation, Strategic Cost management, and Elective Papers.

It is recommended for students to learn different studies such as Principles and Practices of Accounting, Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning & statistic, Business Law & Business Correspondence and Reporting and Business Economic & Business and Commercial Knowledge that you need to understand in order to pass the CPT.

Tips to Balance Your Study and Play Time

By |Categories: Blog, Parents, Students, Teachers|Tags: , , , , |

Striking the right balance is what most people are unable to do, when studying for important exams. Play time and study time are both equally important for a student`s overall output. Human brains are not designed to study non-stop like robots, hence they need their break-time too.

Given below are some tips as to how to balance your study and play time to get the best of both.

Be organized

Make a schedule of your daily routine, on a weekly or monthly basis whatever suits you. Making a color coded calendar helps you spot the different schedules with ease. However, also be flexible to include your cravings and spur-of-the-moment decisions. It is important to know what you cannot change and what you can control with a little adjustment to the prepared schedule.

Prioritize

This is an important tip to keep you going at all times. In your head, you should be clear as to what deserves more priority in your life at that very moment. For example: Weeks before exam, even if your heart is craving for one short run of your favorite play-station game, your head must prioritize studying over playing because of the time crunch.

Know Your Time Wasting Habits

You are the best judge of your shortcomings and drawbacks. You should be aware of those habits of yours that are a threat to your study time. Once you have confronted yourself and accepted your weak links, then work on rectifying your mistakes.

How Can Students Form Good Habits to be Successful in School

Manage Stress

To stress is human! So do not worry if you are suffering from frequent stress bouts because even the toppers in your class do that. What you should focus on is to beat the stress. Do not let the stress bog you down and spoil all your hard work. Go out for a quick run, put on your headphones to groove to your favorite song or quickly read few pages of your favorite novel to freshen up your mind. Different people have different ways of calming themselves, so you can do your own thing to manage stress.

Knowing When to Take Breaks and When to Get Back to Study

Taking breaks come easy but what is difficult is to get back to studying post the break. This is very crucial since you will land up wasting a lot of time if you do not go back to studying on time. So, keep a close watch on your watch and pre-determine your break time.

Last but not the least, while you study, make sure you jot down points and take notes. Also, do remember that breaking away completely from your study schedule often may not help you at all. Keeping your study area free of distraction is yet another tip to concentrate better.

Keep going because you can do it!

CAT 2017: How To Prepare In 150 Days

By |Categories: Blog, CAT, Students|

CAT is a solution for all aspiring students who dream of bagging the MBA degree in the top ranking B-schools of India. It is through CAT that the prestigious institutes like IIMs will open their doors for you. CAT cannot be categorized under the “tough” category but is nevertheless a tricky to ace. Careful strategic planning is required to get that dream percentile in CAT.

CAT 2017 will be held in the very first week of December in 2017, as predicted from last year`s schedule. This means aspirants have hardly 150 days for their preparation time. This time should be enough for your preparation, if you have a plan of action ready. Haphazard studies will not get you anywhere after all. This blog will help you prepare a preparation strategy if you have just begun your studying for CAT 2017.

CAT 2017 Preparation in 150 Days

According to survey, experts and previous students who have successfully cleared CAT claim that this is just about the right time to start preparing for CAT exam.

The initial 2-3 months should be reserved for learning the basic concepts. There is no escaping from concepts of chapters since that will make your fundamentals clear.

Post this; you would be ready to take up mock tests and previous year question papers. It is always wise to study this way so that you can judge your dynamic progress. Initial days should see you solving mock tests at a frequency of one to two per week.

Do not over stress yourself by studying for 8-12 hours every day. Quality is more important than quantity when it comes to CAT preparation. Slogging for hours will mean nothing if you are not focused and attentive enough. Thus, even if you put in 4-5hrs of serious distraction-free studying on a daily basis, you will be good to go.

While studying, the smart way to take in the syllabus is to categorize the topics with respect to its level of difficulty. From hard to easy, you can put the topics in categories. This way you will give some direction to your preparation and try to master your weak points.

CAT is a tricky exam and time is also a constraint. Thus, it would be wise to learn more than one method for solving one single question. This way, the short cut method will save you time and knowing multiple methods will also help you cross check your accuracy. Accuracy is a very important factor in securing a high percentile in the CAT exam.

Equal weight-age should be given to all the three section of CAT while preparing for it. Over confidence on any one of section will make you ignore that one and later your overall percentiles might come down due to lack of practice in that particular section.

A plan is essential to see you through till the D-day of the exam date. Make a daily or monthly schedule for studying and swear by it. Keep your eye on the goal Incorporating CAT preparation in and as your daily schedule will help you stick to your goal and will deliver desired end result.

During the last lap of your preparation, do not be too brave to start learning new topics altogether. This will lead to confusion. The last few weeks should be dedicated to revision and extensive solving of mock tests (two mocks per day.)
