Hello let’s look at reciprocal percentage equivalents part 3 so we have seen this earlier that 1 by 8 is 12.5 % correct now here will be looking at multiples of reciprocals that we have seen till now so for example 3/8 is nothing but as 37.5% how do I get 3/8 it is nothing but as 3 * 1/8 that is 3 * 12.5 which is 37.5% similarly 5/8 would be 62.5% and 7/8 would be 87.5% so now if I look at 1/9 it was 11.11% correct if we look at 2/9 I’ll get 22.22 so I’ll get all 2’s if I look at 5/9 I get 55.55 % all 5’s and if I look at it 8/9 it is 88.88 % it is all 8 so remember 1/ 11 was 9.09 % if I look at 3/11 it is 3*1/11 which is nothing but as 3* 9.09 % that is nothing but as 27.27 % similarly 6/11 would be 6*9 that is 54.54 % and similarly 7/11 would be 7* 9 63.63% if you observe here the part before decimal and after decimal is same now let’s looks at 1/7 if you remember it was 7 *2 =14, 14 * 2=28 1/7 was 14.28 now to remember the multiples of 1/7 for example 2/ 7, 3/7 and so on you need to remember this circle you observe 7 followed by 14,14 followed by 28, 7 doubles 14,14 Doubles 28 and 28 Doubles 56, but if you see it is 57 just keep the small change in your mind and remember the 7, 14, 28 and 5 so it is 1, 4, 2, 8, 5, 7 remember this circle so now let’s go ahead if I look at 2.7 it is 1/7* 2 which means it is 14.28*2 i.e nothing but as 28.56 correct but you see over there it is 28.57 because remember this circle 2/7 actually would come out to be 28.57
