IITs have announced a dress code and a list of prohibited items for the JEE Advanced exam scheduled for May 22,2016 this year. Clothes with big buttons, full sleeves and brooches are banned along with high heels & Shoes. Officials said all types of watches are banned and added that “invigilators will announce the time for every half an hour”.

According to the modified list, now the students ‘will be allowed to bring simple analog watches as smart/programmable watches will NOT be allowed in exam hall’.
