  • The states can no longer take this examination and the respective quotas will come under the purview of this National Eligibility Entrance Test. A similar rule applies for the private colleges as well.
  • The reservation policies for taking this examination remain as before and no changes have taken place in this regard. However, the states can apply their reservation policies for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories and the seats that are especially applicable for the physically handicapped candidates. The candidates must take the responsibility of looking into the details for matters related to quota and reservation before considering this option.
