JEE Mains 2016 (online) answer keys confusing

Currently the students of JEE Mains 2016 are more confused than they ever have been.

All thanks to the recently uploaded OMR sheets and answer keys of all the four sets of JEE Mains question paper.

The errors in the question papers have added to their woes. Most of the students are planning to challenge the answers, but this comes at a price.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) authorities will charge Rs 1,000 for each answer that a student will challenge. If the student’s answer is correct, then he gets his money back and if the answer released by JEE Office of CBSE is right, then no refund.

Pulkit, an engineering aspirant from Mumbai, said, “I am challenging question numbers 17 & 81 in Set G of the question paper. I will be challenging only those of which I am confident of.”

Many teachers of Eminent Institutes have advised students to wait for the final official response from CBSE.

One of them remarked, “CBSE is the final authority for this exam. Whatever changes they make has to be accepted by the students. Students should wait for the final answer key to be released.”

The final answer key is released by CBSE along with the result by April 27, 2016.
